Latte absolutely loves this food, but I have to cut the egg into smaller pieces so she can fit it into her little mouth. Considering that cats are obligate carnivores, the added organ meats in these formulas must be an incredible treat for our feline babies. We’re only going to feed her Tiki Cat from now on, because she goes nuts for all flavors so far. I also recommend the Stix treats!

Hi, we appreciate your question. You can store opened Tiki wet food in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours. Please ensure a tight seal in order to maintain freshness.

My Russian blue loves the quail egg!! It is her favorite food by far.
She has been a picky eater in the past. I have been giving her tiki cat chicken and quail egg for 6 months and it have been an eating frenzy with her.
She screams at me to hurry and get the food in the bowl!

The little quail egg is so cute, that’s not the reason for reviewing this highly. Both cats love this and they eat the little hard boiled quail egg right away. I order the larger cans that have 2 pieces. If you get the small can there is one half quail egg. I give each cat one piece and they eat everything.

I was pleasantly surprised by the visual ingredients in the after dark line (this one stands out because of the egg).
My cat was born a stray and grew up on a combination of prey and rotten food tossed from the break shack. Now she is safe indoors, spoiled on these tiki foods, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

My cats LOVE this food and the quail egg is a special treat. Most of all, they love the broth. Do you sell just the broth? I especially like this broth for them because it does not contain gums or thickeners. Thanks!

Thanks for reaching out! We do sell our Tiki Cat Broths, which will be all broth and small chunks of meat. You can check them out on our Tiki Cat Products page!

Hi, how do you adjust the feeding amounts if you are also free-feeding the Born Carnivore dry food?
(0) (0) Watch Unwatch
Admin Tiki Pets –
Hi, thanks for reaching out! The amount that you would feed is dependent on the weight, age, and activity level of your cat. Feeding guidelines for this food are 3 2.8 oz cans or 2 5.5 oz cans per 7 lb per day. If you are feeding half dry food, then you cut the amount of wet food fed in half. Please reach out to us directly at mail@tikipets.com if you have any other questions!

What is the Ca:P:Mg ratio? My vet prescribed Hills CD for my cat with urinate issues. Is it safe for him to eat this?

Admin Tiki Pets –
Hello! The Ca:P:Mg ratio refers to the Calcium to Phosphorus to Magnesium ratio. Since our diets are not prescription diets, we recommend consulting in your vet before adding our food into your cats meals! Please feel free to email us at mail@tikipets.com if you need any nutritional information!

Cracked open one of these bad boys for my cats. I was honestly shocked to see an actual quail egg in it. Plus, before reading ingredients I was able to recognize chicken hearts, gizzards and liver pieces. Never before have been able to clearly see what it is filled with. This is a quality food.

It’s a surprise that I can find a cat food with quail egg. I’m satisfied from the moment I opened the first can, what I can see was exactly what I saw on the website, cooked meat, half of a quail egg and a lot of broth. My cat doesn’t have the concern about not drinking water, but I’m still happy to see him meets the level of water he needs daily. And also I don’t need to feed him egg yolk separately to provide him lecithin anymore. The duck and lamb flavour is good too, I always buy three flavours together, so my cat doesn’t need to eat the same flavour each meal. The only problem is it’s a bit hard to buy big can in my city (Edmonton). All I can find is small can on the market here, and only one store can help me order big can but it takes about 2 weeks to wait.
(So if your website can help me find any website or store carries the big can, I’ll be very happy to order.) Other than this all good.

In all my research , is it true vitamin k is deadly to cats?
(0) (0) Watch Unwatch
Admin Tiki Pets –
Hello, vitamin K is absolutely necessary in cat foods. Our formulas meet the nutritional standards established by National Research Council and AAFCO to ensure a feed has all known required nutrients in the proper amount and proportion based on a cat’s life stage. Supplementation of Vitamin K is necessary when you don’t have natural sources to meet the requirement. We would recommend speaking with your vet regarding Vitamin K and your cat’s specific dietary needs.

Why do you put any fish oil in the chicken or other protein flavors? Just learned my cat is allergic to fish and im looking for something she will like but you put tuna oil and salmon oil in them.

Admin Tiki Pets –
Hello! We are so sorry about your cats allergy. Fish oil provides a source of Omega 3s and 6s that help keep your cat healthy. Since your cat cannot have fish, we recommend you check out our Aloha Friends Chicken and Pumpkin foods, or our Luau Succulent Chicken food, which has no fish ingredients in them.
