    So Far So Good!

I’ve been caring for a young kitten for over three weeks now, and we finally reached the stage of introducing solid food. For one day, Wally ate wet food, but then suddenly stopped eating it. Over the past few days, I’ve tried all kinds of options to get him eating again, even going back to bottle feeding out of desperation. In between bottle-feedings, I offered whatever wet cat food I had on hand, and the only thing he consistently ate was a tube of one the popular liquid treats that I give my older cats. I believe he was having texture issues.

Armed with that knowledge, I searched online for kitten food with a similar texture and found Tiki Cat’s weaning purée. I fixed him a plate, and he ate it immediately! I love Tiki Cat products, and have used a number of them for years for my different cats of all ages. Love to see that the kitten line was expanded to include things like this product. If you have a picky kitten, definitely give it a try!
