How good is this for the kitten’s teeth? I heard other dry foods weren’t good for cats and I was going to switch to a raw meat diet but then I found this. Will this damage her teeth over time?

Thanks for reaching out! Our Born Carnivore foods are not made specifically for dental health, however the chewing action your cat does while eating this food can help scrape away plaque and tartar. Please know that we do have a raw line as well, that we know your cat will love!

I’ve tried almost every good quality food, but my picky girl wasn’t interested…until I tried the Tiki Cat line. She loved the kitten velvet mousse and then the kibble. So happy that I no longer have to worry about her getting the nutrients she needs!

Why do you only have 1 flavor of dry and wet kitten food. I wanted to give my baby girl a little more variety. I dont see where your adult wet cat foods are for all life stages

My 12 year old cat has a very sensitive stomach and dry food is the only thing that works for him. On top of that, he is a very picky eater with a small appetite. He has tried many dry food over the years and Tiki Cat is by far his favorite. As he has aged, he had been losing weight and getting drier skin/fur. Tiki Cat for Kittens has been a life saver. He eats alot more, gets some extra calories, and he doesn’t have dry skin like he used to. He also has gained and maintained his weight. I am so happy with the results. He will forever be a Tiki Cat!

Hello! All of our Born Carnivore Adult dry foods will be complete, balanced, and meet AAFCO nutritional requirements for all lifestages for cats. Since our dry foods are oven baked too, this makes them full of tasty flavor from the fresh ingredients and nutrient dense meats included in our formulas. Typically kittens stop weaning around 8 weeks old, and should be able to eat dry food then. Please reach out to us at mail@tikipets.com if you have any other questions!

I have two 6 month old kittens. I am currently feeding them Royal Canin Dry & Wet kitten food but would like to switch to something with more meat protein content. What is the feeding guideline per kitten if I were to feed both dry & wet forms of your kitten formula?
(0) (0) Watch Unwatch
Admin Tiki Pets –
When feeding dry and wet food, it is best to base the amounts of each on a daily calorie intake requirement. Your veterinarian should be able to give you a recommendation specific to your cat per day. You can split that amount between the wet and dry. Both are complete and balanced diets, so you can feed all of one or the other, or split. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you!
