Hi! This is suitable for kittens up to a year old, however we do have customers that have fed our Kitten Mousse to adult cats as well.

    Finally found something she likes!

I’ve tried almost every good quality food, but my picky girl wasn’t interested…until I tried the Tiki Cat line. She loved the kitten velvet mousse and then the kibble. So happy that I no longer have to worry about her getting the nutrients she needs!

I have a new 12 wk old kitten (yay?) & starting her on Tiki kitten. I experimented a bit with the luau chicken and egg and she dove in and devoured it. 24 hours later and she’s doing great. No tummy issues at all. My question is, she LOVES the texture of the shredded chicken, but the kitten food is only pâté. Is it going to be developmentally unwise if I switch it up a bit and occasionally put down the luau line for her?

Hi! So glad that your kitten loves our foods! It should not affect her development by switching up our foods. Our Luau line is AAFCO approved to meet the nutritional needs of all lifestages of cats. Additionally, you can mix our kitten mousse in with the new food you are trying to introduce to her to ensure she is still getting all the nutritional benefits from our kitten food!

    The absolute best!

This is the best cat food I’ve ever used and they’ve ever loved so much. It really does have real shrimp, calamari and other sea creatures in it. They go nuts for the seafood and they jump around and really show it because they’re so happy afterwards. Our 15 year old cat gets a hair up as but and runs around with his tail looking all puffy. Our kitten loves it too! I’m telling you this is great food and the happiness in your pets will show it. Haven’t used the dog food yet but I have no doubts that it is the bomb. Thank you everybody for making such great quality food!

My kitten is approximately 10 pounds and is 11 months old (almost an adult) – do I follow the kitten feeding guidelines or the adult feeding guidelines?

Hi! Our feeding guidelines will vary based on your kittens breed, size, sex, and activity level. Since your kitten is close to being a year old, you can follow the adult feeding guidelines, however if your kitten still feels hungry after that you are welcome to feed more. Additionally, we do recommend consulting in your vet to ensure your cats specific needs are being met.

    Amazing for weaning

    Ceci

I recently had foster neonatal kittens that were estimated to be around 3 weeks old based on size, and as a result I was still bottle feeding. Fast forward a few days after they keep losing weight, and the vet re-assesses their age to 5 weeks and gives me the green light to start feeding them solid food to try and get some weight back on them. I am not joking or exaggerating when I say this salmon kitten mousse literally saved their lives: within two days, both kittens put on 80 grams (EIGHTY!) and chowed down on this mousse like it is nobody’s business. I am so, so glad I happened to grab some of these packets when I was first preparing to receive the kittens in anticipation of when they would eventually wean, because it meant I had them on hand when things were literally life and death for these guys. THANK YOU TIKI CAT!!

    best wet food around.

    Shatasha Hongger

I found a kitten with a broken jaw. She is unable to eat hard food at all. At 6 months old she only weighted 2bls. After starting her on every soft food I could find This was her favorite. She started to grow. Her fur became soft. Best food ever.
