What ages is this recommended for? My kitten is 6 months old and weighs 6lbs. So if I follow the directions I would need to feed 7 cans of food a day??

Both my new kittens are in love with this flavor. All I hear when they are eating is lips smacking. When they are done I always get cuddles and they usually go to sleep nice and full.
