Recommendations vary greatly, based on your cat’s age, activity level and life stage. For adult cats, feed approximately 2 pouches per day per 7 lbs. of body weight. For kittens, offer food several times a day, feed up to twice this amount.
Pregnant or nursing cats may require two to four times their normal feeding.
The amount to feed will vary based upon age, activity level, breed, size, and environment. Please use the feeding guidelines as an initial recommendation and adjust food amount as needed to maintain proper weight. Always provide access to clean, fresh water. Wet food should be changed at least twice daily in order to prevent spoilage.
Serve at room temperature, and refrigerate any unused portion.

It took me awhile to find a wet food my cat would eat. Glad I found Tiki Cat mousse. My only complain is believe it or not my cat sometimes will eat only half. She won’t eat it after it’s refrigerated so sometimes it’s wasted. I guess I need to be sure she is good and hungry to eat it all. I wish the pouches came in smaller portion sizes. I will still buy though. My cats coat is so soft since switching to Tiki. She actually wakes me up for this stuff.

My kitty LOVES this! Super consistent quality (which is SO hard to find with cat food!!!) Missing one star because it would be great to see the mousse in a more environmentally friendly package 🙂

Isn’t it funny how cats are so picky? The velvet, specifically chicken and egg flavor, is the only wet food my cat will eat. She does not like foods with chunks of meat in them, just licks the sauce around the chunks, and this is all blended up and extra smooth so she eats it all. I agree with another reviewer that this product should come in a more environmentally friendly packaging. Can you put it in a can? Then at least it can be recycled.

Hi, I have a diabetic kitty, are the % carbs by dry-matter-basis on the Velvet Mousse foods below 10%? I would love to know what it is for each of the flavors, as well as the % phosphorus by dry-weight-matter. Thank you!

My vet recommends a carb % of 5% or below for my diabetic cat. I can’t find the carb percentages for any of the velvet pouches. Can you let me know if they’re 5% or lower?

Hi! All of our Velvet Mousse foods are 5% carbs or under. Please email us at mail@tikipets.com if you need the specific carb percentages!
