I adopted my cat from the local PAWS as a two year old tuxedo neutered male just a few months ago so we’re testing the waters so to speak on a high quality, moist canned cat food that is more a once a day treat then as a full time occurrence. He get’s a super premium, dry, grain free, “fat cat” weight management type cat food in his bowl, which he seems to like. I saw the Tiki Cat display at my local Petco and picked up a few cans to try, this Mackerel & Sardines combo among them. Upon opening the can you can tell right away this is high quality, REAL…mackerel & sardines that really does look good enough to “look like it belongs on your plate instead of his.” He attacked his plate and ate every speck and looked at me after he was done like where have I been hiding this food at?? He typically get’s about 3 of these daily evening snacks out of a small can and judging from his reaction to the Tiki Cat Mackerel & Sardines and being a fish & seafood loving kind of kitty anyway, even though he doesn’t know it yet, I have a feeling he’ll like these others just as much. Stevie the cat KNOWS what he likes and says paws up on Tiki Cat Mackerel & Sardines cat food. And he can hardly wait for the next gourmet flavor at dinner time…

I recently switched to Tiki Cat after one of our Bengals, Reginald had several vomiting spells with another brand. Tiki Cat has been good for his tummy so far! He’s tried broths, velvet mousses and After Dark cans.

I fed half of a small can of this kind and he went at it with gusto. He seemed thoroughly pleased with the meal. About an hour later, he made a loud yowl sound and I knew disaster was about to happen.

I thought that perhaps he ate too fast the first go round, however when I tried to feed him the remaining half, he immediately began sweeping the floor with his paw and moved away from the bowl. That was a definite sign that he was not a fan of this particular fish dish.

Our Vet switched our 10 yr diabetic cat from purina pro plan DM to the Tiki brand. My cat loves it. Doesn’t take as long to eat and its ingredients look better. Only tried this flavor Grilled “Mackerel & Sardines.” This flavor seems to have less calories than the other flavors.
