This was my first time serving this product to my 17yr old kitty. He’s been a finicky eater the past few months, barely eating more than a teaspoon of whatever soft food I offered at any mealtime. He’s lost half his body weight and is always meowing for more no matter what brand I tried. Tonight that changed!! He ate the whole tin!!! The whole thing, licked his lips, looked at me and asked for more! I’m so happy, I’m
Heading back to the store tomorrow to get other flavours for him to enjoy!! Thank you for making a great product for senior kitties who have very few teeth

Did you change the can packaging for the tiki ahi tuna Hawaiian ? The can was yellow and purple but I received an order with yellow and green cans. Analysis Percentages on can are slightly different. My cat is a diabetic and I need to make sure the food is the same.

My cat is 15 years old. He loves the Ahi Tuna Hawaiian Grill recipe. I can’t find it at my local store or on your website. Would you be willing to bring it back? As you know, cats don’t like change. Mine is no exception to this.

We are currently fostering an approx 2 year old semi feral cat. When we got him he only had been fed dry and didn’t recognize canned as food. I tried many different types of canned and packaged wet food to supplement with dry but no luck until the Tiki Ahi Tuna. He gobbles it up every morning!! What a relief!

My cat gets one 6 oz can of Tiki Ahi Tuna a day in 3 different feedings. He does not like his food refrigerated. I keep the unserved portion in the can covered at room temp in a cupboard for the length of the day (about 8 to 10 hours). Is that OK?

Admin Tiki Pets –
Thanks for reaching out! To retain freshness, we do recommend leaving opened food out for 2-3 hours. Once the can is opened, it will remain fresh in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.

Our 13-year-old cat is recovering from pancreatitis and needs low fat food. He loves the ahi tuna. What is the fat content? Is it considered low or high? We’re having a hard time getting him to eat what he’s supposed to eat… Also, I have yet to find an easily digestible hard food he’ll eat… Tried your deboned chicken and egg… Still a no… Any suggestions?

Great product. My cat will only eat this moist food. I’ve tried dozens and he sticks his nose up in the air and walks away from every other moist food. He even refuses to eat this product with other things mixed in with it. PLEASE never discontinue this product, I supplement with dry food; BUT without this he’ll probably starve.

If combining wet food with free feeding dry food (roughly 2/3 cup), how much should a 8-12 month 5-7 pound kitten consume a day?
(0) (0) Watch Unwatch
Admin Tiki Pets –
Hello! Feeding guidelines do vary with the age, activity level, breed, and health of your cat, but our guidelines are as follows:
If feeding wet and dry food together, decrease the amount of Tiki Cat® Born Carnivore™ by approximately 1/8 cup for every small can (2.8 oz. or 3 oz.) can of Tiki Cat® wet food.
For a 7 lb cat, feed approximately 1/2 a cup of dry food a day. Kittens can eat twice this amount a day.

Hi! My girl used to LOVE the Ahi Tuna, but something has changed. It is more minced than shredded. Did the recipe change too? Tiki has been my go-to for all wet food since that was her fave and she likes some of the others. She used to only eat seafood, but expanded a little now. She is 15 1/2 and I just want to keep her happy! Her younger brothers like most of the stuff too, if she shares. 🙂

I’ve been trying to find a wet food for my picky 9 y/o cat since I got her 7 years ago. I was recommended the Tiki Cat Ahi Tuna from someone who also has a picky cat so I thought I’d try and I am so glad I did! She LOVES it!! I placed a spoon full on a plate for her to try and it was gone within 10 seconds, I was shocked! THANK YOU TIKI PETS!
