Hello! Our feeding guideline is a general idea of what an average cat of a certain weight would eat, but since your cat is trying to lose weight the feeding amounts will be different for him. We recommend discussing how many calories a day your cat should be getting with your veterinarian and basing that number off how many cups they eat of our food.

5 out of 5 ALL of my cats love it!

    Laurie E.

Just bought my first bag yesterday and gave my 9 cats a taste because you are supposed to mix with old food to prevent gastric upsets. To my delight all, including a few picky cats gobbled the food down. I’m trying my best to afford a good quality kibble having several cats with health issues and Tiki Cat has checked all the boxes -thank you for making such a quality food!
PS – even though this is mixed in with the former food, the cats are picking out the Tiki Cat?

1 out of 5 Sad that my cat got sick from it.

    Holly

My cat had been on this food (Chicken Luau & Fish Luau) and Feline Natural since I got him at 4 months old. He really loved it. I started feeding Tiki alone about 2 months ago and he developed frank blood in his urine about a week ago. He is 13 months old. I took him to the vet (they specialize in cats) and she said it was food induced and he is now on prescription dry food for the foreseeable future. He has not been pleased with the change in food. I hope you can address this issue and I feel the food’s main ingredients are top notch. But don’t understand the need for peas, tapioca, and pumpkin.

5 out of 5 Great dry food!

    Nana Carol

I just bought my first bag of Chicken Luau and I thought my cat was going to knock me down to get to it! She loves it and I love yhat it’s baked instead of extruded. It’s high protein from named animal sources and met all the other requirements for a high quality food. It’s pricey, but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend it.

My 5 and 10 month old kittens will eat this (tho they prefer cheaper foods more; go figure). I love that I can give my cats healthy food at whatever stage of life they are at–and that 1 bag of food does the trick!

I do feed what the package suggests for weight, and my kittens are always begging for more food, so heads up there.

My only “complaint” is that my cats can easily tear the packaging, which means they can have access to more food than I intend and/or their food gets stale unless I transfer it to another container..which defeats their awesome resealable bag.
