My two cats are losing weight steadily on this food, but it get so expensive having to buy a lot more smaller bags than one big bag (compared to the price of the regular tiki cat dry kibble). At my last visit eight months ago the vet told me my cat was over two lbs overweight and with her asthma it was important for me to control it. I put that to heart and switched her food to this Light Turkey recipe dry food as well as to the Special Light turkey recipe wet food. Today we had another vet check up and the vet was so happy to see she lost two lbs on her diet and is now in her perfect health weight range. She also got a great bill of health. The vets even asked me again what food she was on and I was happy to tell them Tiki Cat.

I recently adopted a beautiful shelter cat who had been in a shelter for several years. She is 8-10 years old (conflicting documentation) and overweight. She was on another premium brand “light” food, due partially to a history of digestive issues, which has a high grain content. I am in the process of expanding her diet and transitioning gradually toward lower carbohydrate dry food and also wet food. She showed a preference for the Tiki Cat when mixed with her old food from the very first serving and is having no apparent digestive issues with the transition. I plan to keep her on this for a while, then transition to a combination of wet foods and regular Tiki Cat dry food. Thank you!

My cat loves this food and has lost weight on it. His coat is glossier and he seems healthy and full of energy. PLEASE CONSIDER MAKING A BIGGER BAG!!! It’s my only complaint. I struggle as a pet parents to keep up with ordering the little bags.
